Properties fall roughly into three groups. In-town homes on unusually generous lots — often a third to a full acre, with mature trees and room for a garden and a shop. Edge-of-town parcels of a few acres, usually with well or septic involved. And larger rural acreage further out, where the land is the primary asset and the house is secondary.
Outbuildings are common and add real value: shops, barns, loafing sheds, detached garages. So does usable water, whether that is an irrigation share, a secondary connection or a well.
