Nephi · Juab County · Local Guide
The Nephi, Utah RV Weekend Guide: Where to Camp, Eat, and Actually Enjoy the Stop.
Most people drive right past Nephi on I-15. It feels like a fuel stop between Salt Lake City and St. George — but with a little local context, it's worth slowing down for.
Nephi is the county seat of Juab County, tucked up against the Wasatch Mountains with real small-town amenities — good local food, coffee that's better than it has any right to be, parks for the kids, and easy access to Central Utah recreation.
If you're pulling an RV through Central Utah this summer, Nephi is worth more than a quick gas stop. Here's what I'd actually tell a family pulling off Exit 222.
Information is current as of June 2026. Hours, amenities, and pricing can change — confirm directly with each business or city department before visiting.
Section 01 · Where to park
Where to Park Your RV in Nephi, Utah.
Rollin' Home RV Park is the standout RV option for travelers passing through or staying a few days. It's a newer, well-maintained park just off I-15 — the kind of place you pull into tired and immediately feel like the rest of the drive can wait until morning.
The layout is genuinely big-rig friendly, which makes a difference if you've been white-knuckling a 40-foot coach through narrow campground loops elsewhere.
- 57 full hookup sites
- 30 and 50 amp service
- Pull-through spaces up to 85 ft
- Big-rig friendly layout
- Showers & laundry
- Walking trails
- Fire pit & horseshoe pit
- WiFi & general store
- On-site café (Thu–Sat)
- Gym & sauna
- Mountain views

If you'd rather trade hookups for pine trees, the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest sits northeast of town with dispersed camping options along Nebo Loop Road. Ponderosa and Bear Canyon campgrounds operate seasonally. Confirm road and campground status with the Forest Service before heading up — Nebo Loop opens late and closes early most years.

Section 02 · Coffee
Coffee in Nephi Worth Stopping For.
The Haven Coffee House & Roasting Co. is not what most travelers expect to find in a smaller town. They roast their own beans in-house, have indoor and outdoor seating, and a back deck overlooking Salt Creek and Old Mill Park.
This is not a truck-stop cup of coffee. It's a real local coffee shop worth planning around — a good place to sit, regroup, and let the kids wake up before getting back on the road.
65 S Main St, Nephi, UT
Open daily 6 AM – 4 PM (confirm current hours before visiting)
Section 03 · Food
Where to Eat in Nephi — Breakfast, Burgers, and Dinner.
Nephi has a few easy food options along Main Street, but if you want something more local than another fast food stop, head for Lisa's Country Kitchen or Bar Dub Grill.

Lisa's Country Kitchen
Lisa's has been feeding locals and road-trippers for decades. Breakfast served all day, fair prices, real portions, and a parking lot that handles larger vehicles better than most small-town spots.
- Breakfast all day
- Chicken fried steak
- Biscuits & gravy
- Breakfast skillets
- Navajo tacos
- Ribeye
- Homemade soups
- Pies
This is the place for a real sit-down breakfast before a drive, hike, or day exploring Central Utah.
735 S Main St, Nephi, UT
Bar Dub Grill
If you want a burger instead of breakfast food or fast food, Bar Dub Grill is another local Nephi option to consider. It works well for lunch or dinner when you want something casual, filling, and local — a good landing spot after a long drive, pool afternoon, or day exploring nearby recreation.
Hours and address details shift from time to time — confirm current information with the restaurant before going.
Nephi also has the usual fast food options along Main Street for quick stops, but Lisa's and Bar Dub give travelers a more local experience worth the extra ten minutes.

Section 04 · For the kids
Free and Low-Cost Stops for Kids in Nephi.
Canyon View Park and Nephi City Park are both practical stops if kids need to get out of the car. Canyon View Park sits closer to the freeway with a playground, restrooms, picnic tables, and plenty of open space. Nephi City Park is central and easy to access. Both are simple, useful stops for families on the road.
Nephi City Pool
In summer, the Nephi City Pool is a strong stop for families — open pool, diving board, tube slide, climbing wall, tot splash pad, and low admission. It's a smart hot-afternoon stop when the RV starts feeling small.
Hours vary by season and weather. Check Nephi Recreation or the city pool page before going.

What Else Is Near Nephi?
Part of why Nephi works as a basecamp is what's within an hour of it. Three options I'd point any RV traveler toward:

Nebo Loop Scenic Byway near Nephi. Image is a creative representation.

Section 06 · A closer look
Why People Are Taking a Closer Look at Nephi.
I'm a Realtor in the Spanish Fork-to-Nephi corridor, so I see this from both sides — the travelers passing through, and the families who eventually circle back and ask what it would take to live here.
Nephi is the county seat of Juab County. Families are paying more attention to it because it offers more space, a slower pace, and lower pricing than many Utah County areas.
The numbers from May 2026 tell part of the story:
- Juab County closed 50% more homes in May 2026 compared to May 2025.
- Inventory dropped over 38% year over year.
- There were only 47 active listings in the entire county.
- Median sale price in Juab County was around $507,000.
- Utah County's median was around $546,450 — close enough that the trade-off is worth looking at honestly.
Nephi isn't the right fit for everyone. But for buyers who want small-town living without being completely disconnected from the Wasatch Front, it's worth understanding.
If you've driven through Nephi and thought, "I could see myself here," that instinct is worth a conversation. Reach out at SummitKeys.org or call 603-915-6884.
